About

I'm SO glad to be in this global circle.

Connection, re-connection, community, learning.... Yay!

I've been playing with NVC since 2000 and am a Certified Trainer. I'm involved in NVC Research, NVC in Schools, NVC Parenting, NVC in organizations. For the past 7 years, I've been working on a book with Puddledancer Press to outline the history and evolution of NVC.

As a colonial settler Canadian, I'm fortunate to live on Michi Saagig Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) land. I'm committed to learning my responsibilities under the Williams treaty and under Anishinaabe respect protocols.

My work focuses on fostering sanctuary and belonging within individuals, in relationships, in community, and in structural systems.

Besides having fun with all that, I love tending my little food forest, puzzling out a native flower garden (an

"ode" to Black Oak Savannah plant communities), and collaging odd bits of paper onto canvas.
